The customer website was deployed on-premises and leveraged a WCM platform, Joomla.

Business Needs

  • Required a strategic technology partner to carry out Azure migration and eliminate on-premise hosting environment.
  • Needed managed support services for monitoring website up-time and efficient incident management.

Based on business requirements, Espire recommended to host the Sitecore CMS on Azure PaaS

  • Migrating to Azure, allowed the customer to eradicate patching servers and carrying out regular enhancements, as these are handled by Microsoft, thereby allowing the customer to focus on their business rather than mitigating IT-related issues
  • Integrated the Sitecore CMS with Azure for driving contextual communications and improving customer experiences
  • Enabled secure access for the internal team and customers only.
  • Usage of Application Gateway (Web Application Firewall) allowed control of common Web Vulnerabilities as per OWASP standards
  • Regular VAPT testing and remediation plan mitigated the identified vulnerabilities
  • We also extended managed services for IT infrastructure support, regular monitoring services, change, incident and request management
