The portals aimed to provide information about tourism in England, hotel availability, events and attractions. Integration of Content Management System to manage the portals was the primary challenge.

It eventually became the most widely used Web application for travel information about Britain. The portals doubled up as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools that took input as users’ registration information and displayed all promotional activities of the organization.
