With Espire since its inception, Gagan leads from the front and is responsible for the formulation and implementation of Espire’s global business expansion and excellence in customer experience. As head of the executive management team, he works towards setting the business directions of the company, identifying strategic opportunities for growth and for modelling the required transformational and operational changes within Espire.
Over a career spanning 30 years in the IT industry, Gagan has held various senior management roles including Head of Delivery, during which he has successfully managed the delivery of large global projects. He has gained tremendous experience in diverse services, domains and industries. Under his leadership, Espire achieved the unique position of being among the very first companies in the world to be appraised for CMMI quality standards. He has been the driving force behind Espire's successful appraisal for CMMI level 5 Ver 1.3 (Dev + SVC) and accreditations in ISO 27001:2005 and ISO 9001:2008.
Gagan has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, with a Senior Management Programme certification from the premier Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Gagan has also received processes training from the Carnegie Mellon University and KPMG. When taking a break from his work commitments, Gagan enjoys a game of chess and is a die-hard fan of classic Bollywood movies.
